Detailed testimonial from St Johns C of E Primary School, Mosley Common:

Toni-Marie has worked in our school for over 12 months, delivering CPD for staff and after school sessions for children and staff. I would recommend, without hesitation, Toni’s workshops and sessions.

Staff at St. John’s have shared the following:

My children loved it when Toni came, she is very professional and knows how to make yoga fun and interesting for the children. They loved being creative when making their jellyfish breathing pots and drawing around their hands. Great strategies to help my lovelies keep calm and to focus on their breathing.

We have had our first session this afternoon – both the children and the adults enjoyed it! Very informative for me too as Toni-Marie was explaining the science behind the breathing techniques as the children practised them.

My children cheered when they knew that they would be having Yoga with Toni-Marie. They were engaged, they focused and most importantly took away strategies of how to stay calm. The sessions were inclusive, nurturing and a highlight of the week for a lot of our children. Now, moving forward, Toni-Marie is helping with preparing the children for the changes and significant events our Year 6 are about to face; the children are completely embracing the methods and techniques and are looking forward to what is coming next! An absolute treat!

Year 3 counted down to the Yoga lesson all week! Toni-Marie taught them ways to ground themselves and reduce stress and I’ve seen them use ‘peace begins with me’ in other lessons too. They really enjoyed learning the different yoga poses through games and stories and Toni built relationships with the children really quickly. We love it!

Y4 loved it too – I was massively impressed by how much thought and effort she had put into the sessions – we never repeated a session. She had really thought about what would interest them and engage them. The children really enjoyed the sessions.

Y5 loved her sessions, she is very knowledgeable and her passion shines through. Excellent interactions with the children and she quickly built up good relationships with them.

A big ‘Thank you’ to Toni-Marie from all of the staff and the children at St. John’s.

– Miss. A. Heaton, Headteacher
